2000 MR2 SPYDER CONVERTIBLE - SOUTHERN FLORIDA CAR VERY LOW MILES - EXCELLENT CONDITION IN & OUT YEAR: 2000 MAKE: TOYOTA MODEL: MR2 SPYDER CONVERTIBLE VIN: JTDFR3203Y0015778 MILEAGE: 44,780 (ON 3/5/2013) TRANSMISSION: 5 SPEED MANUAL ENGINE: 4 CYLINDER, 1.8L GASOLINE EXTERIOR COLOR: LIQUID SILVER INTERIOR COLOR: BLACK LEATHER/TRIM TITLE: CLEAR AUTOCHECK REPORT: COMPLIMENTARY AUTOCHECK REPORT SUPPLIED BY EBAY This is a Florida car that, with the exception of the last few months, has spent its entire life in warm, sunny, south Florida. We recently purchased this rare, low mileage 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder Convertible for our son. Prior to purchasing, we had the car checked/inspected. After purchasing and after the car was trucked to New York we had it mechanically checked again prior to registering and giving it to our son. Our repair shop here said the front brakes were fair and the tires should really be replaced due to uneven wear and some plugs in two of the tires. We had that work done and it was completed a few weeks ago at a cost of around $1,000. In the interim, our son decided that getting his first car (his dream car) was far more important than his school work. We decided otherwise and as a result of some really disappointing grades, the car is being sold. Thats the end of the story. This is a well above average, extra clean 2000 MR2 with exceptionally low mileage. Accordingly to the AutoCheck Report provided by eBay, it does have some minor accident history in March 2011, long before we purchased it, which we were aware of. The AutoCheck Report gives similar vehicles a score of 25-55. This MR2 Spyder Convertible received a score of 86 in the same report! Weve had the car checked (and rechecked) and no damage was found so we have to believe the prior accident was relatively minor. As we said, we just had the front rotors and pads and all 4 tires replaced. Our tire/repair shop recommended Yokohama S-Drive tires which are supposed to be a nice all-season/all-weather tire with aggressive grip, smooth handling and impeccable control. The tires, size 205/45R/17 that go with the really nice set of 17 aftermarket Falken wheels, are "Z" speed rated. The radio is also upgraded to a Pioneer DEHP4700MP CD/MP3/WMA Player. We do not have the original wheels or radio. There are no odors of any type and it most definitely appears to have been a non-smoking vehicle. In addition, the convertible top is in excellent condition (see photos) and I am guessing it has been replaced as I dont think the original top would have lasted this long, particularly in the Florida sun. We are looking for a clean, quick sale. While we are open to a negotiated BEST OFFER, we will not consider nor respond to low ball offers. The purchaser of this MR2 will pay and receive a Bill of Sale and clear Title from the leasing/finance company that handles all of our vehicles.
